Damascus Gaming is an esports company born from humble beginnings and now a testament to dedication and excellence.
Originating as a gaming community called “A Bad Notion” at the end of 2021, our evolution was swift, prompting a strategic transformation into Damascus Gaming in August 2022. Halo Infinite was our starting point but we soon moved into Trackmania and Mortal Kombat. Our accolades include the first woman to ever place Top 8 in the Halo World Championship Free For All, a dominating presence in the Trackmania World Tour NCSA stages, and consistent success in Mortal Kombat tournaments, including the Mortal Kombat Pro Tour.
Beyond our pursuit of competitive triumphs, Damascus Gaming is committed to our home, El Paso, TX. Our aspiration is to establish a professional esports environment that resonates with the local community. DG’s commitment extends further, as we actively engage in initiatives to forge partnerships and cultivate esports infrastructure within El Paso’s educational institutions.

Daniel “Moodles” Teske
Chief Executive Officer
Daniel, 30, has spent the past decade in multiple leadership roles in both the civilian and military sectors. His vision for Damascus Gaming is to create an esports company that impacts El Paso’s community and transforms the city into a leader in the esports industry.
He is married with two sons, and enjoys playing Escape from Tarkov and chess in his free time.

Luis “SIR RAMBO” Ballester
Chief Operations Officer
Luis, 27, is a law school graduate and has spent years learning the esports industry in various titles. His expertise has been invaluable to Damascus Gaming.
He enjoys playing The Finals, Call of Duty, and chess when he isn’t taking over the world in EU4.

Daniel “Renegade” Patterson
Chief Finance Officer
Daniel, 28, received a bachelor’s degree in Managerial Finance from the University of Mississippi and has nearly a decade of experience in banking and finance.
He is married and enjoys playing Halo, Call of Duty, and chess. Daniel continually tries to counter Luis’ schemes for world domination in EU4.

Elizabeth “FeistyMoodles” Teske
Executive Secretary
Elizabeth, 30, received degrees for Legal Administration and Criminal Justice, and is currently studying at El Paso Community College for Paralegal. She is a great asset to the team, maintaining all important documentation and scheduling.
Elizabeth is married to Daniel Teske. She enjoys playing Fortnite, Fall Guys, and Assassin’s Creed. She also operates her own art store called Moodles Creations.
